Q: How do I know if I'm on the right track in planning for my family's financial future?
A: In this day and age of specialization, everyone has limited time (168 hours each week) to devote to things as they wish: work, family, friends, hobbies, just to name a few. You have unique goals. We take a personalized investment approach to help you create a comprehensive financial plan just for you. We can help you ensure that your planning is on track.
Q: How do I maintain my current lifestyle, now and into the future?
A: We can help you create a plan to invest wisely and address your retirement goals and financial independence. Seeking to increase income and decrease taxes are two of the major focuses we deal with here at Wise World Investment Planning. Cash management, flow and adequate reserves are part of the normal planning process, as well as working with your current tax advisor to decrease taxes.
Q: Can you do "fee based" financial planning?
A: Yes. We can also use the traditional commission basis, if requested.
Q: Do you offer any workshops or classes?

Q: Where is your office?

Q: What are your "normal" hours?
A: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., however our team has been known to stay late or work six days a week by appointment.
Q: What is the difference between Wise World Investment Planning and LPL Financial?
A: Wise World Investment Planning is the doing business as (DBA) name of Keith Dorson, who offers securities and financial planning services through LPL Financial, a Broker/Dealer and Registered Investment Advisor. Wise World Investment Planning is not an affiliate company of LPL Financial. LPL Financial.
Q: Why should I work with an investment and planning professional, instead of "doing it myself"?
A: Your time is valuable. Having a full-time professional LPL Financial Advisor to watch, manage and work towards helping your money to grow, can be money well spent. Let us do for you what we do best, and your precious time may be used for the things you love - your family, your home, hobbies, etc.
Q: Am I doing everything I can to save money for the future, and saving as much as possible in taxes?
A: A complete financial review can help to answer these important questions. Are your wills up-to-date? Do you have a living trust? Do you have an estate plan? Can you add any more to your 401(K) or IRA? What is the ROTH IRA and does it work for you? Do you have a comprehensive financial plan? These and other important questions can be answered in an in-depth personal review.
Q: What are the costs?
A: There is never a charge for the initial meeting, which lasts approximately one hour. After that, there are different options available that we can discuss to use the best approach for you.
